I’m a passionate children’s book author with a heart for helping young minds grow in confidence, character, and wisdom. Through my books, I teach kids not only how to believe in themselves but also how to handle real-life skills—like saving money, managing their time, and making thoughtful choices.
At the center of everything I write is A’ Kia, a character who encourages children to dream big, overcome challenges, and embrace their unique gifts.
Meet Kia Lee Smith
Kia Lee Smith is a smart, confident little Black girl with big brown eyes, sweet dimples, and long dreadlocks with purple and blue streaks that show off her bold personality. She’s the heart of our brand and loves to learn, lead, and share everything she knows with her little brother — especially about Yahweh and important life skills like saving money, managing time, and believing in yourself.
Kia comes from a big, loving family with her mom, dad, and six siblings — that’s seven kids under one roof! Their home is full of love, laughter, two cuddly cats, and three playful dogs. Life is never boring in the Smith household!
She even started her own girls’ club with her friends, where they talk about faith, friendship, and growing into strong, kind young ladies.
With a creative mom who’s a designer and a dad who owns multiple businesses, Kia is inspired every day to be a leader, love others, and always put Yahweh first.
